Teen Edition
A note from the editors, Elijah Cliett (21) and Emilie Cliett (17).
Castles are fascinating and alluring to us. The whole idea of a place that is constructed to protect and shield us is appealing. Little boys want to be knights and have sword fights or ride the horses to protect the castle. Little girls pretend to be princesses and think of themselves as special and waiting in the castle tower for Prince Charming to come riding up on a white horse. As we grow older, we may change our visual image some, but we still think about the castle concept. We want to be secure. We want somewhere we can hide or from which we can launch our crusades.
While we are not very likely to have a physical castle from which to operate, we do have a castle of sorts. We all have our own personal integrity from which we operate and grow. We view the world and make decisions based on our own integrity or character. We all have a castle of character from which we launch our personal crusades. The size of our crusades is not nearly as important as the integrity of the castle. Our castle of character must be strong for us to be successful.
In this course, you will learn how to build and maintain a strong Character Castle. We have enjoyed putting this curriculum together for you. We hope you will enjoy going through it.
